I have a set of 168 and a set of 150 Pilas that I am using in the FM@g85. The 168s seem to require the "normal" one tap then on method to get past the cell protection. But my 150s require 5 or 6 taps before they will fire it up. Does anyone think that cycling them through a few discharge/recharge cycles would help that? If not, I may just get a second set of the 168 batts and find som other flashlights to use the 150 batts in.

Thanks!

The 150A has lower capacity and can therefore not deliver as much current, that is the reason for your experience. So you better find another light to use them in, or use a less powerful bulb. I would try WA1166.
However, I don't see the point in using them in the FatMag since they have so much lower capacity than the 168A and you don't really save that much on the body length or on the weight.
