I recently bought a SL4AA LED which I have found to be an excellent light. I am a firefighter and have been trying it out at work, comparing it to my issued UK4AA.
The Streamlight is a great personal floodlight but I would not use it in a smoke filled environment. For this I prefer the penetration of the Xenon.
Last night I discovered a problem. The temperature was hovering around zero degrees and there was a strong wind. Cold. Wearing gloves I found it difficult to turn the Streamlight on or off. I could not depress the button on the tail enough to click it.
Streamlight promote their lights as "firefighter friendly". This on/off button isn't.
