Any VW owners that have installed the LED overhead light panel?

Not sure if this belongs here or in chat . . . but it involves LED light upgrades, so here goes.

I have a 2003 VW Jetta. On a popular VW forum (VWVortex) I see that in the VW Passat W8 sedan, that car features an overhead dome/map light panel that includes LED "ambiance" lighting. Apparently the Passat panel can be installed in the Golf/Jetta, but the wiring isn't exactly "plug and play".

I've done more research on this LED interior lighting upgrade. For anyone that's interested, this is a cool mod for your VW. Here's a much better (and shorter!) writeup on how to do the install, with good pictures.
