I'm going to add a Lux-V 'WX1T' bin in my Q-III. What would be the highest current BB driver (is that the best choice?)I could use without additional heat sinking? It has to be bright enough to be worth the mod or I'll have to take the heat sink road.

Is the Q-III a single 123 or a 2X123?

For a 2X123 you can use a Badboy 700. With a single 123 you are too far down in voltage to get anything close to spec.

I made a similiar set up with a badboy 750 and a 14500 cell. Unfortunatly unless your making a nice heat sink things may turn out ugly. I made the drop in sandwich from hell. It is kind of cool but the luxV suffered some permanent damage from the heat after only less than an hour run time. And i'm not talking an hour strait. I'm talking "hey look at my little half a mag light". Now the converter and luxV lives in an inova X1 that i modd'd.
