Everyone is not going to agree. It will make things simple if everyone just makes a firm decision for themselves as Orb said earlier "its no big deal" if you don't want them milled then thats fine, if you do then thats fine too, but "I will if you do or I wont if you don't" isn't fine. I guess since most people here on the cpf are more than mildly compulsive(me to) but not about whether a light has a milled tritium tube slot in it. I say mill em all if it's easier, cause if the exact perfect amount of un milled lights isn't achieved, there will be grousing and grumbling to be found.

My point exactly. Folks, we can all have our Raws sooner if we do not interrupt the machine shop's orderly preprogrammed progress. I have learned that with CNC setups, you can't just go in and stop one particular operation sequence on a certain numnber of lights. Plus SolarFlare's blood pressure would be lower too, if all the Raws were made the same way...just my 2¢, or is it "two pence" in the UK? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif[/img]

Then I say take the decision out of the end user's hands at this point and let the manufacturer decide. I thought that Orb had decided to go one route, then we are told we can decide slot with trit or slot with no trit or no slot at all etc...

Once again, my vote is for slots in all of them to smooth operations for the machine shop. In for a penny in for a pound (sterling that is) [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif[/img] .

How do you arrive at this figure? I cannot see it. If it is indeed an accurate figure I want a second Raw only. Please explain to this uniformed person.

I get 35 (light, batt, charger), minus 3.5 (charger), plus 6 (tritium), plus 6 (shipping) = £43.50 that's pounds stirling, not dollars (~$87.00)

I think what he meant was: 31.50 + 6(trit) + 3(batt) + 6(shipping)=46.50 (31.50 + 15)

But I think goldserve said he didn't want the charger or the battery, and the above price actually adds 3 pounds for an extra battery. So I figure it to be 31.50 + 6(trit) +6(shipping)=43.50 (pounds)

So does that mean - charger and battery or - charger + battery. I was never very good at complex equations.

Its a bit ambiguous I'll agree but the RAW comes with a battery anyway, so adding a battery is £3.

RAW + Battery + charger £35

I don't think Orb assumed that anyone wouldn't want a battery, but acknowledged that some people have chargers, or in the case of purchasing 2 RAW's one charger would then be surplus to requirements hence the option to drop one of the chargers So subtract £3.50 . I assumed from goldserves post that although he did not want a charger he did want a spare battery.
Don't forget Orb selected theses batteries from several types to provide the best "engine" for the RAW!!!.

Therefore 35(light+batt+charger) - 3.50(unwanted charger) + 6(trit) + 3(spare batt) + 6(shipping) = £46.50 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

The website's ordering system is also based on Paypal. There is also a possibiliy to pay with your credit card, but I don't have one. I will get Paypal as soon as possible (will get a credit card number from a friend).
