Then again, most people on the block probably consider spending more than $10 or $20 for a flashlight outrageous.

(Whiteout/correction fluid works great for marking black bags)

I thought someone with one of the autographed bags had lost their mind and was selling it off.

Even though I'm a big SureFire fan, I'm not willing to spend $300 on a flashlight bag. I would love to have one, but I rather spend the money on a M6 or another M4.

To me, this seems like an obvious attempt to cash in on a market share that is deemed to throw down considerable disposable income on whatever is considered the "best". It's the techno-man version of a Gucci purse. Retail, it should be about a sixth of the price. IMHO of course.

www.soegear.com. Check out their product line. Their tactical vests are in the $300-400 price range. $300 for the bag is fair considering the amount of nylon and work.
If you have enought lights to fill up the bag, then $300 isn't anything to scream about.

EVAN_TAD makes good points.

However, even though I can easily fill a second one of these I won't be getting another.

It's not that $300 is too expensive but more that I'm looking for a different storage/transport/protection design.
Such as the TAD Gear HAWG or Maxpedition Dodecapod.

When you think that its a prototype or part of a small semi custom run , the price isn't too bad . Think what Dorcy owners think about our Surefires . Al probably should look at some of the bigger Pelican cases , preferably wheeled . ( Or possibly a 53 foot trailer with a Brinks/Mat escort .
