Long ago was mentioned a possible 3xAA dropin -- still possible? (I have several 3AA Brinkmann lights waiting).
I use cutdown M@G (one-AA) lights a lot, with
-- a Madmax Q3-Wide Open and
-- a Madmax Lite Lux3 TX1J/K
using NiMH 2300 mAh AA rechargeables. I like the small size but wonder --
Is there a lithium-ion rechargeable AA size that would fit, and would the voltage (3.6, I think?) be safe to use with these two Madmax boards?
I did poke around but didn't find the answers, hoping some regular reader here knows.

Last month we added a bunch of new items to the Lighting category. I was unable to post. You can create some neat projects.
LocLine parts and accessories, Cree and Rebel Strips, Stubbies, Tri-Cluster, and Flood head Fixtures, 15W Xitanium 350mA and Xitanium 700mA driver (the bigger ones), Scotchlok connectors. See the Shoppe for all of the components.
The Cree bar is coming soon. More parts are being made to include as a kit.
You can run the multiple LED projects off Shark-Remora or Xitanium Driver.
McR16S has been added to the McR family of reflectors.
No wait for the Tank Night Light - AA and 123 models. Rolling, rolling, rolling . . .
SOB will replace the Downboy.

The kit will be basically the 'Box' and all inside components will be sold separately DIY parts. A post will be made when the kit comes together.

Pre-production GDuP Flashlights and GDuP Light Engines
This is a limited quantity pre-production run of the highly anticipated GDuP Cree LE and GDuP Cree flashlight.
The Aleph GDuP Cree XR-E Light Engine(LE) has a fully-regulated GDuP Micro processor based boost/buck driver with a Cree "Q4" LED. It will run on a single cell CR123, R123, 3.7V Li-ion battery.
The GDuP LE will run 3 levels with a McClicky switch.
The GDuP turns your single stage light into a three stage clicky or twisty.
This is a pre-production run of 27 LE and 3 complete Flashlights.
