Q-III dual stage problem/How to disable for POP2

Hi!

I have a problem with my Modded Q-III.
I have just bought one POP2 sammie for it,and want to disable the dual function...

What i have done so far is removing the resistors and shorting out the extra pin that is located one the dual stage switch.
Since the original ones only have one i figured that would be a good idea.
But Nooo..
The light now needs three clicks to turn on....
And then i can use the UI,but the UI is all Goofed out with the dual stage switch.
It worked perfectly when the Orignal switch was working,that one shoted out though [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Any suggestions what to do?

Well, I would remove the resistors and shorting the two pads out. If you look at a original switch, that is how it was. I wouldn't go about shorting out the pins. Hope that helps.
