May I ship lithium cells from USA to Singapore?

I've just offered to sell several of my AA lights to a forum member in Singapore. I told him that I'll include fresh Battery Station AA lithium cells if the U.S. Postal Service permits. Maybe I meant to say the FAA. Anyway, is it permitted? If so, will the Post Office know how to label the box?

Hi Paul

The question used to be easy to answer, now it is slightly more complex. Part of the issue is "how much" Li is in each cell and the total shipment.

I would call the post office or check their web site. Good luck, and please let us know the answer. Perhaps BS has an answer on if "they" can ship.

I never found out. The Singapore buyer wanted a different light from the one I had intended to ship him.
