G'day folks
I have some really neat two position on switches I am building into bike light heads. I am after a source of soft flexible keypad covers which I will sandwich between the housing and the switch.
I have a sample out of a failed taillight, and have seen similar buttons on things like car remote switches.
Picture a "quaker hat" with a rim diamter of about 12mm, a crown diameter of about 6mm, hollow to accommodate a 3-4mm pushbutton post about 2-3mm high. Must be flexible enough to operate the pushbutton!
Any clues for a source? I am willing to buy a qwantity.
THEN, I'll post pictures. The project is proving to be great fun. 3W Lux, a mix of drive options and optics played with to date and more to come I'm sure.
Cheers
Peter
