REI\'s closing out Gerber Tracer headlamps

"Here" for $14.93. It also comes with a keychain LED light. I may have to order one of these for a "backup/close task" light! I think they "claim" 40 hours on 1 AAA.

If I'm not mistaken and you have an REI nearby - you can have it sent to the store for pickup, thus no shipping added.

I wouldn't count on one of those lasting very long on camping trips. No water resistance at all, and cheaply constructed.

Might be great to throw into a glove box for emergencies, however.

Actually, they're listed as 'overstock', not 'close out'....least ways they were when I just ordered a pair......

Neat *very light* headlamp, wish I hadn't lost mine. Now that the replacement has been ordered, I expect to find it any minute......
