I'm new here but i'm in love with ..... like you all, you are great :)

I found on Tower Hobbies inc. a rechargable Sanyo Nicd cell 600 mah that two of them can be assembled into a 123 cell.

It's spec:
Sanyo N225AE 1.2 V
D= 16.3 mm
H= 16 mm

No need to believe. Just know that they are from Sanyo. Batteries from Sanyo come with a somewhat assurance of goodness.. I agree that $5 is kinda steep. Mmmm... if they make Nimh versions, would it be 1200 mah den? Same a lithiums... Woo hoo!

I agree with you that its price is high

What is the nominal working voltage for SF KL1 or 3?
Cause in 2 cell 123 light you can actually make a 2.4 - 2.8 V 1200 mah pack from these cells .

Definatly a typo an the mAh. My Sanyo lit. shows it to be 225mAh.

The KL1 lists 3 to 9 volts operating. Mine runs at lower than 3V. I will try to post results at lower voltages soon.
