Just wondering if the McR19 would fit the original McLux head.
The IMS17 is just a tad small and the IMS20 is too big.
Thanks

The 19mm is way too long! It would probably work if you blew out the bulkhead and used a LE from the rear. The A-19 head is actually the same length as the McLuxI head but the LED sits considerably further back!

And that answers that.
Thanks Don.

Can you recommend an o-ring size to take up the rattle room when using the IMS17?
Trial and error is driving me nuttier.

GJW,

Your question got me to thinking about some special "chopped" 20 mm reflectors that were reduced to 18 mm and I have some of these. I tried one in a McLux head and it worked very well with the stock O-ring. I have sent a note on to Wayne for possibly handling a few in the shoppe but in the mean time, if you are interested, send me an E-mail.

I use some stripped insulation from hook-up wire, cut to the correct length to fit around the mouth of the reflector. Works great.
