Please excuse my bad english. But I think you'll understand me. )
Most facts about the Gladius have already been said in other reviews. There is not much left for me. All I can give you is a short comparison to the Nuwai ALX-352L.
First of all I want to mention, that, at the time of writing this, the ALX-352L is the 5th powerful LED flashlight at flashlightreviews.com by overall output (65). More powerful are the SF L2 (89),the Diamond Mag Fraen (100), the EL Phaser (125) and the EL Tri-Star (140). The last three aren't really fair opponents, I think.
But now to the Gladius:
I was very precarious about the ceramic coating. Some said it easily wears off. So I handled it with care. But I have to say, if you don't drop it on hard surfaces, it won't be a problem. I put it in and out of the pouch a hundred times now and it looks like new.
The other thing I found, is that the batteries, which seems to be depleted in the Nuwai, work great in the Gladius for a long time. The difference to full batteries is not recognisable by me. Only the low-battery warning blinking. Of course that is not a plus for the Gladius. The cause is the stupid regulation by the Nuwai. (see the runtimeplot).
Video based on the pictures below.
And now some pictures:
Now some pictures of the original Blackhawk pouch:
Last night was a little foggy, so i did some beamshots:
Gladius left - Nuwai right [1s f/2 ISO200]

These look much darker than it was. Sorry. 1s exposure time would look more real. The house was very good illuminated.
