Fastest nokia charger?

Hi,

I'm using the Nokia ACP - 12x charger for my DSD charger.It outputs 5.7v at 800mA.Is this the charger with the highest current output? Are there any nokia chargers or wall warts which charge at a higher rate? I want to charge up my 17670s faster.

I have a camcorder li-ion smart charger I took apart and put clipleads on and it charges but 3.6 and 7.2 volt batteries and auto detects the voltage. if I used a bigger walwart on it (am using a 12v 400ma) It could go above about 1.2 amps I got on one of them.

The problem is at what rate can you charge without damaging the batteries? Charge too fast and the life may be compromised.

The highest rate to charge a LiIon battery is 1C. Optimal rate is 0.7C.

Brian : the DSD charging cradle will not be able to take over 1A. Your 800mA should be the max. to charge safely.

Thanks for the info! I was thinking of putting a 6v 1.5A wall wart into it. Guess it's not a good idea to do so.
