Those "if you could only have one light" threads that the noobs always start could be a source of constant amusement if we all agreed to answer one light.

Anyone game to do it next time just to tease? I'm thinking something middle of the road like the river rock 2xAA or something. Imagine how it would blow people's minds to ask that question again and have 10-20 people all say the same thing.

Okay, I'm in an evil mood tonight

Well, I'm with you Topper. This is one of those ideas that's fun to talk about doing but not really do. I trust the CPF community looks at it the same way. It was in that spirit that I added my 2c.

Yes, in case anyone misunderstood I wanted to make it perfectly clear that my idea was completely tongue-in-cheek! After all, I was a noob once here as well!

It is fun to talk about.

I think my first question was something like "What is the brightest, smallest LED flashlight?" I recall many members saying about the same thing. "You have to get the ___ ___." So I look it up and I think they must be idiots or they are just messing with me. Twenty dollars for that!? Right. OK. ARC AAA

Funny idea -I can see the responses now....

"But I already HAVE a AA Maglight! isn't there something better?"

of course you could say - "it not the light, its all in the BATTERIES!"

I don't think that version of the gold flashlight is plated. I think it is real gold. It'd have to be, because the 24k plated light is only $280. If that were my only light, I think I'd end up being lightless as soon as I could have it minted into bars.

LOL!
"I dont know about MagLight - you don't want Mag using in their marketing the Flashlight recommended by cpf users..."

I couldn't agree with you any more! After getting my Surefire G2 Nitrolon three years ago, I jumped that imaginary line from the unenlightened to the enlightened and gave up ever touching one of those infamous [unmodded of course] maglites.
