I would like some help building a 2xAA light using a Vital Gear FB3. I think this is possible but I just don't seem to be able to find enough information on what other parts I'd need. If possible I'd like it to have low and high beam modes and a beam like the EL XM-3 ie a hot spot with lots of side spill. I'd also like the high beam to be brighter than the XM-3 and the low beam quite a bit dimmer. If possible I'd also like all the parts to be HA III coated as my XM-3 is looking pretty bad after a long hard year of getting beaten around. I'd also be interested in a light of similar design that ran off 2C cells for better run time. Thanks!!
