Overall it is a very unique light that deserves the credit it has been given.

I agree. I just got two today and although the so called HA3 is actually so so, everything else about it is splendid and nice. Very high quality in general. The included holster, lanyard, spare rubber boot, spare o rings and the nice presention box should be given plus points too.

One of my piece has uneven anodising but so do other brands, no big deal. Also refer to this thread about its HA3's issue:

Would people even care if its only Type 2 Anodising? Even if the HA3 is not top quality its still much better than Type 2 Anodising.

The small size is excellent for a necklight or keychain light. With a wonderful light like this and at this kind of wonderful prices, I wonder what happens to other brands on the market.

Imagine if Fenix comes out with an AAA version...

Pardon my anodising spelling

where is the best place to buy the fenix ?

I guess my trusty micro illuminator (very white and bright r2h)
Is gona get bumped off of my keyring.

my micro is an amazing light - amazing that it still works.

I drop it onto concrete at least once every other day
the metal case is pretty beat up but the lens and reflector are perfect.

it draws about 400 ma from a aaa lithium and runs for 3 hours to 50%

2 hours to 50% on a alkaline aaa.
