Default NDI clicky switch problem

Hello,

I EDC a NDI and have had some nagging flicker issues I've worked through but now the clicky switch doesn't always engage on a full press. Sometimes it works first time, other times requires multiple presses.

Anyone else experience this? Got a fix?? I'm not sure how to disassemble the switch so any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes,

Mine also did this. I called the distributor and I was sent a new switch.

They gave me an extra switch with the light when I bought mine a couple weeks ago, and they gave me a extra switch with my Extreme I bought today.

Thanks for the replies! I guess I need to contact 4sevens again. They have replaced the light once already. How do you replace the switch? Any special tools needed?

Just some needle nose pliers. I have a pair of bent nose that work great for unscrewing those retaining rings.

I believe the light ships with a spare switch in the box (at least they used to). Look under the foam.

I bought one of the original pre-order NDIs. My switch was starting to fail so I emailed NiteCore and asked to order a couple of extra switches. They promptly sent me two replacement switches for the cost of shipping. My suggestion is that you either email the dealer you bought it from or email Nitecore directly. Should be no problem getting a replacement (or two). Good luck!
