Buttrock Nasty Wolf Eyes Lego?

I was just sitting here thinking up new Legos when I though up this! You know how the M300 from wolf eyes doesn’t have any upgrade bulbs, just like all of WE’s focusable lights. Well do they all use the same kind? Because if they did……The Turbo-E3-AX “140 lumens” which is also a similar focusing light made by WE is only a 3x cr123 body light. Filling that up with some IMR 16340s + The M300 bulb and you’ve got your self a tiny little light with 400 lumens and stellar throw! I would jump on this build in heart beat, but if the bulbs didn’t work then it would suck.

Au Re: Nasty Wolf Eyes Lego?

Wow, no post and 80+ views, I would have thought this would spark a bit more interest. Essentially you would be getting a 0.3 inch shorter, M3 Turbo Sure Fire with more output and longer throwing beam for 3x less money, or the WE M300 output in a package many times smaller for less than half the price! These are the best comparison shots of the two lamp assemblies =

Turbo Eagle:

The M300:

They look almost identical, anyone have any to compare?

Turbo Eagle: $67

SureFire M3T: $330

I believe that Glen from wolfeyes dot com dot au is looking into the idea of using three IMR 16340 cells with the 12V E4 lamp. (which is designed for four CR123 cells) If it would survive, then you could use this lamp in the E3 with its turbo reflector......time will tell......

I don't think that the M300 lamp will fit the E3.

btw, the E4 12V lamp is 200 lumens.

OK, here are three lamp sizes (without the bulbs, my experimental units) in the Wolf-Eyes range. From left to right; M100, M300 and E series. I don't believe that the M300 lamp would fit inside the E3/E4 lights.

By evaluating this pic, my thought is also that won't fit it, unfortunately.
