Default 360 LED Coverage?

I'm looking for a 360 degree azimuth coverage 'bulb/module' to replace my nav/anchor light. It needs to be bright and operate on 12 VDC. I've found a post-type unit for over $250!

Any suggestions?

Got any pics of what one of these looks like? What's a post type unit? for $250 does it catch fish or scrape & paint the boat or anything?

Not totally sure where you'd get one, but a bit of digging showed that I did remember correctly that I'd seen one in the LED Museum.

Here it is: First Star LED Anchor Light

Hope that's something useful anyway.
