Question Reading light

Hi all,

I've been a lurker on these forums for a while, and now decided to finally register! To continue reading these forums, I need a good reading lamp, because I print out all the interesting posts (j/k )

Basically I'm looking for a strip style lights that can be mounted above my computer desk to well lit the area in front of my monitor. The computer desk has top shelving, so it won't be mounted on the ceiling. Its doesn't matter if it has a base, because I will mount it anyway. What matters to me the most is that its the best for reading/eyes. Any ideas of which light tecnology type I should be looking for, and where it be purchased from?

Thank you!

A white CCFL (Cold Catode Florucent Light) maybe...

They are often about 30cm long and give out a decent amount of light.

Get a Kensington Eclipse. It mounts on top of the monitors and does not give off glare.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will research about them.

I also stumbled into this Desklamp which seems to be the best there is. It not exactly what I want, but so convincing.

What do you think about it?
