Default where to buy bulbs

Where is a good source of (cheap) bulbs? I need an S-8 (or similar) dual contact 12V bayonet base bulb. This would look like an automotive tail light bulb. I found Jameco had some, but they didn't have the plain dual contact. I don't need dual filamant. I need about 20 to 30 lamps for a project. Thanks

Sounds like you want an 1156 bulb. If I read this right, you can get 10 clear bulbs for $1.98 at this place:

Not sure about that, you should probably call 'em to verify that that's the price for 10 bulbs, not the price of a single bulb. (There's no way these bulbs should cost more than $1.00 each.)

Thanks for the link. The 1156 is a single contact, and the 1157 is an index bayonet dual filament. I wanted double contact because the base is not connected to the filament. I'm going to be using these outdoors, and the base very well may be grounded. Even at 12V I would like to keep it isolated. That way also, it doesn't matter whick way I hook op multiple lights, because they would all be isolated from each other. Thanks again

OK, I didn't understand your request before. Sorry I couldn't help, I've never seen this type of bulb.
