Ahh, remember the good ol' days when you could still buy things (like light bulbs) that were still made in the U.S.A.?

I didn't see how they draw a vacuum on the bulb... is this something they actively do, or does the heating/crimping shut of the bulb lower the pressure enough after its sealed to run a filament?

Most modern bulbs contain argon. This reduces the deposition of the (slowly degrading) tungsten filament on the inside of the glass.
