photobucket question

I uploaded pics to my photobucket account and copied the IMG line and pasted it here and the picture showed just fine.

But then I went and created a directory to put them in and then recopied the IMG and edited and repasted and they would not link?

I then created a whole new post and they still would not post.

I had to copy the HTML line instead to get it to work.

Does anyone know why the IMG has trouble working from a subdirectory?

It is a photobucket thing, or am I missing something?

If you change the directory, take the new URL and paste that in to replace in your post. Then remember to re load the page on your browser. Should work fine.

Thanks david.. but the Url does work.. its the IMG pathway that no longer works....

the beauty of the IMG pathway is that viewers automatically see the picture when they browse without having to click on a link created for the URL pathway.

thats why I prefer the IMG to work rather than having to use the URL.

I figured it out..... I use Firefox 1.5.0.7 and I had set "without remembering" the tick to only allow pictures to be viewed from the originating site.. I unchecked that and bingo!

Tools --->Options---> Content---> load Images----> uncheck the box that says "From originating web sites only"
