The light comes with extra o-rings, screws for both light modules, reverse clickie switch and light module.

The optional 2 18650 Battery Tube is installed. The shorter Battery Tube is for 3, RCR123 rechargeable batteries.

Both modules have optional small screws that make contact with the flat top Lithium Batteries. Note if screws are used voids the protection circuit in module. Make sure batteries are installed correctly.

The interchangeable modules are easy to change.

K2 Module installed.

Inside the rear clickie.

Full regulated DC-DC Control Circuit.

The DX1 comes with 2 different rear switches.

The DX1 came shipped with the momentary on, twist on and off switch.

I installed the reverse rear clickie. Action is very good.

Machining is excellent and the Hard Anodize III is excellent with no blemishes.

The K2 and the 5 Watt Module is bright and white. No puke green noted.

A very nice light for the introductory price! A++++

Hello Ernsanada,

Great info! Did you get to run them in the night? If so, how are they for throw and spill? Just an estimate...don't need exact footage!

The DX1 with K2 has decent side spill. It is a very smooth beam due to it's orange peel reflector. But I think if the reflector was shiny no orange peel it would throw a lot better.

I compared the beam to my 2D Maglite with the Mag Led drop in. The Magled slightly out throws the DX1 K2. It has a tighter beam (corona) than the DX1 K2. The DX1 K2 has a wider corona but slightly less intensity in it's corona compared to the Mag Led drop in.

Recieved mine today,

Very impressed with the workmansship, perfect Anodizing.
Quality all the way.
It actually feels like a Surefire in Quality.
And i have handled my share of Surefires.

Output is insane.
With the Lux V module it actually Comes close in output to my Tri-lux TWOJ Light w 3xMcR18 Reflectors.

Definatively a keeper.

I actually tryed to power the K2 Module with 2xAA Lithiums and even Alkalines and it lit up.Not as bright as it should but worthy of mentioning in cse of a emergency.

IF there were something i would like to change or add to a quality light like this,it would have to be a Two-stage or Multi feature Switch/Converter.
The Cree XR-E would also be fun to try in a light with this size Reflector.
And ofcource a 2x123 Body as Extra, this would make the light much smaller and be even more versatile.

But you cant have them all

All in all i would not think twice about getting another.

I was just fiddling with my DX-1 and found that on 3 3.7v rechargeables using the twisty switch there is actually a two stage function. First momentary is full brightness and the second press immediately after is a little dimmer.

What a great light.
