idea for custom light pipes
alot of bmw's and mercedes are using light pipes now in their tail light.... i want to do something simmilar to the tail of my bike.... i was looking at taking a peice of acrylic sheet (prolly >1/4" thick) and drill a hole, and put a side emmiting lux in there... would it work... on the back side i would cut a V to split the 'away' light and make a small parabola to direct the 'away' light forward. i would also seal all non needed area against leaks using foil or maylar, glued to the plexiglass.... this would be one, i would use like 4-6.
anyone think this would work. luxeon would be regulated and output controlled
