Tuesday, November 14, 2006: I fixed a couple errors in the extension, thanks to Luke Kramer, Stephen Chen, and Mr. McInnis for catching them. On other news, I might be adding a section on how to do the cross on the bottom, as well as the first two layers for those who want to speed up. But only those who have memorized the main solution will probably know how to understand it. I will update when I choose to finish it. And, lastly, I will make the solution to the 4×4×4 cube...I just need to find time and patience.

Wednesday, November 1, 2006: Hello everyone! I have gotten most of the extension to the simple solution done. Actually, everything necessary for it is posted. The only things missing are the other 14 move sequences to only make you faster. But, as I said, everything that is necessary to solve the cube is posted. I recommend learning the extension if you have mastered The Simple Solution! I also updated the FAQS.

Saturday, October 28, 2006: As promised, I made the solution reference card. It contains the entire solution on one 8½×11 page. But remember, it is just a reference. It is very abbreviated, and not completely ideal for someone who has not at least read through the solution. Take a look!

Friday, October 27, 2006: I just want to say that I have not quit out on this site again. :] I have gotten a sub-50 personal best since the last update. Also, check out the User Progress page. You will see that Stephen Chen, in a matter of days, has improved by over 70 seconds. That is a lot, and he is now a bit above two minutes.
-
Wednesday, October 18, 2006: Updated cube log with fun things like a graph. Note that ALF means Average of Last Five solves. I am getting close to sub-60 with my new method!
-
Sunday, October 15, 2006: Okay, the domain expired a long time ago. So I guess we are stuck with our normal link: http://home.comcast.net/~quadricode/cube. Also, I put up a timing program I made! You can ignore the scrambling sequence I put in there.

Wednesday, June 29, 2005: New Domain!
[EXPIRED]
Right now, it just redirects to this, but it will soon be my personal blog, as well as contain this site. It will be majorly refurbished, and it will look 10,000% better. I can't wait!

Tuesday, June 14, 2005: Not any updates in a while. Added Will Obst to the User Log. He has successfully learned the solution in THREE days. Yet, more proof of the speed at which the solution can be learned! Excellent Will!
-
Wednesday, April 20, 2005 (II): Added ANOTHER solution! It is called "The Tetralution Solution". It is a nice solution to the Pyraminx, that can be mastered in at least a day! Now, please don't expect another solution very soon. I need to see if all of these work fine first.
-
Wednesday, April 20, 2005: Added another solution! It is called "The Mini Solution". It is simply a trimmed down version of The Simple Solution, but does not solve 3×3×3's. It solves 2×2×2's. Shows how versatile my solution is . Also, look out for a 4×4×4, 5×5×5, Pyraminx, and Megaminx solution!! (I will probably make the Pyraminx Solution first, then 4×4×4, then 5×5×5, then Megaminx.) Also made a Solutions Page.

Sunday, April 17, 2005: Wow, there is a huge error, kind of. I'll get straight to it...Hypera = Revolver. Also, I added an article on memorizing under the new References section. Also, for big news, My girlfriend memorized Part II this afternoon. So, for the tally, two people have memorized it. She learned fast when I explained the way to memorize the sequences. Oh, by the way, she solved it in six minutes for the first time.
-
Tuesday, April 12, 2005: I set up a timer, so you can time yourself with this solution, then send the times to me! See the User Progress section for sending times. (Props go to Jesse Bonde, the creator.) Oh, when you clock it, you cam ignore the "Scrambling Algorithms", and stuff like that. All you need it the 'Start', 'Stop', and the 'Accept' button. Also, all those prompts that pop up, you can press cancel to all of them.
-
Monday, April 11, 2005: I am happy to announce that we have one person that has memorized my solution, and can solve in four to five minutes. It took him less than a week. Amazing! I now have a page set up so I can post your times!
-
Saturday, April 9, 2005: I put a Cube Log section up, so you all can see my progress on learning my solution .
-
Friday, April 8, 2005: I fixed a lot of mechanical errors, and fixed a HUGE error in Step Four of Part II. Also, my lovely girlfriend was over, and she decided to go through the solution (which surprised me and made me happy). I helped her very little, and she zipped right along (finding a couple errors along the way). She got through it in under 45 minutes, I am pretty sure. If she can do that, anyone can . (Update Two): I also had my sister try, and she is 12 years old (and very stubborn :P). She solved it in under an hour for the first time.

Thursday, April 7, 2005: This is a bit late, and I thought it would be cool to have as an update. This site was featured on the March 29th DiggCast, a podcast announcing entries on a website called Digg.com (link). Anyway, have a listen. Here it is. (March 29 DiggCast, starts at 1:21, 2.22 mb)

Wednesday, April 6, 2005: Fixed a HUGE error. On most pages, I used 'bottom' instead of 'down'. I am sorry if this confused anyone. I made all the changes, it should be fine now. Just remember, the algorithms are EXACTLY the same, just the name of a move changed. Again, I am sorry for those who may have been confused, or are confused now. My site contradicted it self. If you read the README, you should understand why.
-
Saturday, April 2, 2005: Structured the site a bit more i.e. frames, etc.
-
Monday, March 28, 2005: Page is up.
Errata
Please check the solution to see if it was the same as last time. I have been finding lots of errors, and they are being fixed as they are being found. I think I will post fixed errors here. I am sorry if any of you printed any of this off. But don't worry, a lot of it seems good.
Fixed errors:
-
Extension: Rotations pictures, I algorithm
-
Part II, Step 4: Hypera = Revolver. So you need to memorize only one move for this step!
-
Part II, Step 2: There are actually four positions not three.
-
Part II, Step 4: I had some stuff mixed up. Just go with the new version.
