Affirmative.....delete function is gone. You'll have to fight Sasha over that one....and.....uh.....I wouldn't recommend it right now.

And the time is majorly screwed up at the moment.

vcal,

I'm not real sure what you mean by "forum leader". I've never heard it before either. No one is really the "leader" of a forum. The moderators are there simply for administrative purposes. To make sure that the topics that are posted in "their" forums belong there, to make sure that the few rules that CPF has are adhered to, etc etc. I suppose if you have a problem with a specific forum, the person that you would contact would be the moderator of that forum or one of the administrators.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I fully understand what a moderator is/does, and I have No problem with the way CPF is run, but lemme try this just once more..........

Quote -from edit page
"Note: posts may not be deleted except by the 'Forum Leader'".
-so that isn't a term that I made up-it's what the edit page actually says...

Not to belabor the point, but I was simply asking: what the heck constitutes a "forum leader"??
Not a major thing in this life, , but the edit page terminology seems oblique, (nebulous), and kinda vague and ill-defined, -like difficult to fathom what that term really means....

-I suppose I could email Williams about it............... On second thought, never mind....
-I Give Up.....

Pssst Sasha...while we're on the topic, not that I plan to, but just out of complete and 200% (No, that's not a typo) curiosity, if I delete a topic in my forum will it royally screw things up? What about an individual post? Just curious...

Doug,

Now that I know what you are referring to, I can answer the question. In that instance, the "forum leader" is the moderator of that particular forum or any one of the administrators on the board.

Ryan,

You can delete single posts (but not the first one in a thread). But I recommend caution when doing that...REALLY!!!... it's not a good idea to go around deleting and/or editing other people's posts. They tend to get just a tad bit miffed. I'd just simply set the rule that you will delete duplicate posts and that's it. Nothing more.

Thinking Clock... let me take a look at this. I'm not sure what the problem is yet.
