Both subjects are not in focus because the aperture was too wide. A smaller aperture (Higher number) increases the depth of field.

Yes I have, It really make you think going round that installation.
It always struck me as funny that a 'secret nuclear shelter' that really was so well hidden for all of the cold war years, is now so well sign posted!
I used to live on the front at Westcliff and ride dirt bikes on some land owned by the same guy that owned the nuclear shelter, was his name parish or parsons?

Walking round the bunker had a similar effect on me, really made you think "what if?" Left me with a cold chill.
