Testing pic link to ML vs. ROV bulb

Testing my first post here before my first posting to a regular board. Can't wait to start posting mini-reviews on my lights! [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Here are two bulbs. Each one was run in a mini-ML for about a half hour. The one on the left is the standard mini-ML T1 bulb. The one on the right is a Rayovac T1 that I got from Wal*Mart. Note the larger glass area of the ROV, and the fact that it didn't get black like the ML T1 did.



The ROV bulb seems to be somewhat brighter (maybe 20% more) and less yellow. Having a larger glass area may result in a longer run-time for the bulb before failing. My kids use a couple mini-ML's so I'll have to watch and see how they last.
