Default my first experience with CFL's

I just tried a CFL for the first time and holy crap i'm in love!!!

I hate incandesent bulbs cause the yellow light bugs my eyes and I was in love with white LED's

well I never realised these were white

now I'm gonna change every bulb in the house

Default Re: my first experience with CFL's

well some of them are. If you like a particular brand and model I'd stick to that. There are still tons of the "warm white" with a color temp of like 2700k or some of the off brands even 2400k which are not only yellow like a regular bulb but green as well.

I really like the 3100-3500k ones (which are sometimes now branded as "bright white") and 4500k for work lights and shop lights type things. But I can't do the blue ended "daylight" ones.

So be sure to buy lights that either print the color temperature on them, or that you already know you like. THere is a tremendous variation in the colors available out there!
