Lux Meter Recommendations

I would like to purchase a lux meter for my personal use and I am looking for recommendations. I have seen several on Ebay for between $30 and $50. Are these reliable and fairly accurate ? Or are there some recognized brands that the folks on CPF regularly use ?

Gossen is best in it's class but it's about $500 - $1000 Range accuracy to 0.5%
Settle some thing less expensive ..... Extech around $100 - $150 accuracy to 2%
there are others on ebay between $30 and $50 .... are good too accuracy between 3% - 5%

It appears that more you spend, better accuracy you would get, but for general use.... you can go ahead with eBay....I would recommend This one from service369

If you can afford.... you can never go wrong with Gossen's Mavolux 5032c/b USB - Light Meter, Luxmeter from GOSSEN Foto these are the very best at accuracy and features.... imagine running from Single AA battery and with data logging capacities through USB, no other light meter comes close to this, especially considering that when on USB, it fetches power from your USB and not from AA battery.... isnt that great?
