Here's the deal. I think...but I am not sure, that maybe when you give a post the finger it subscribes you to just that specific post (This software, at heart, is set up for threaded threads mind you) so I clicked the finger on my post and we'll see if I get an eMail about it. For this post I am replying to your post. We'll see if I get an eMail about this one too. I'm adding this thred to my favorites now as the box is there. Just for grins, I thought I'd put this list down so I know where it is:

1. Following links from "favorite thread email notifications puts me in threaded mode.
1a. Generated favorite thread emails sometimes contain the entire post, others are truncated. The truncated emails are differing lengths.
2. Little finger with thread seems useless.
3. Check box to add thread to favorites seems to show up inconsistently
4. Inconsistently shows me my post after posting

I keep getting yours via the "favorites" notification. I'm tellin' ya, the finger doesn't cut it.

Consistency, baby. That's where I'm having the biggest issues. I don't mind if some stuff doesn't work just the way I want. But it ticks me off when I can't at least count on it one way or the other.

Maybe your finger is interferring with your "favorites." I may have had that problem before too. Try removing the finger in you MyHome.

Interestingly, I only saw one email notice that you'd posted. I wonder if it is one per user. Because if three different people were to reply, I would have seen three notices.

I would have thought that you would have gotten 2 notices as one of my tests was a reply to SABBY's first posting. I was playing with the Threaded display vs the Flat display.

When you mark a thread as a favorite, all replies are sent to you via email. I've recieved all four or your posts.
