Default Replace Candle LED

I have some holiday candles use yellow flashing LED's (one in each) running on 2 AA batteries. Is there a way to replace these with non-flashing white LED's?

There's some circuitry that is programmed to cause the flickering. You could take that circuitry and LED out and put in a white LED and a resistor.

Probably won't work. The Vf of the yellow LED is is less than the white LED. The candle likely has no boost circut since the 2AA provide enough potential for a yellow LED.
