Default Help selecting a bulb

I'm actually looking for a bulb that is capable of generating heat-- at least 500 degrees F within about 2-5 inches of the bulb. and can do this at no more than 12VDC and 3 amps

I had some Osram 64623 bulbs lying around, but at 3amps, it doesnt do much (which is expected since they're spec'd at like 10A)

But I do like the size of the 623's so i'd be looking for something thats not much bigger than it.

i'm very new to the whole light modification thing... but I'm a fast learner.

if anybody can point me in the right direction, i'd appreciate it.
