ok i have been a member for about a year but have not posted much,
i currently own 1 SUREFIRE X200A WEAPON LIGHT FOR MY XD PISTOL,
SUREFIRE E1B WITH NEW TAIL CAP, STREAMLIGHT NANO, MICROSTREAM,
GERBER OMNIVORE, 2XD MAG W/ LED UPGRADE (MAG NAME BRAND) AND A FEW WAL*MART CHEAPIES MY QUESTION IS WHAT OTHER NAME BRANDS SHOULD I LOOK INTO I AM KINDA 1 SIDED WITH SUREFIRE I WANT TO EXPAND MY KNOWLEGE IM ALSO LOOKING FOR A GOOD THROWER FOR ABOUT $100 MAYBE MODING MY MAG

Once you get used to Surefire, there aren't too many other brands that will meet your expectations. But there are still a few options -

One that applies to your current Surefires and Mags would be drop-ins from Malkoff Devices: http://www.malkoffdevices.com/ . Anything from 200 to 700 lumens in basic and very solid drop-in form can be found there.

As for manufacturers, you might take a look at NovaTac (http://www.novatac.com/) and JetBeam (http://www.bugoutgearusa.com/jefl.html), both are common also-carry favorites with many Surefire owners.
