Exclamation help - miniature lighting supplies in ottawa?to have a light on in a model?

First off, completely new to posting, so I'm just throwing this in here...hope someone can help.

So I'm building a small maquette of a set for a play, and basically it's on a 1:24 scale (inches) and i was hoping to find a way to shine a bit of a red glow on a small portrait in the room. I'm no electrical expert, but i'm good at building things in miniature - i've been able to google some things, like little spots and lights for dollhouses, but i'm not looking to electrify an entire 6-room house.

Any suggestions for where i could get something in ottawa (not at 100$, mind you) to basically shine a light on a small miniature portrait?

Thanks,

Leandra

How about a little red LED run off a wall wart?
