Default Pyrotechnics and Fireworks

In a past life, I was actually a pyrotechnics chemist. With July 4th coming, I thought some of you may be interesting in trying your hand at hobbyist pyrotechnics. Keep in mind, this was the flashlight of choice before batteries.

Every few years, I also feel the need to plug the company from which I stole my "Skylighter" handle.

You can make fireworks legally and safely. But you need to focus on both of those aspects. To start, buy some reading material from skylighter.com . My personal favorites are the books called Best of AFN.

Note: Other than a customer and a theif of their name, I do not have any interest in this company.

If you would like to see some of the fireworks that I have done, check out this video on YouTube.
