Default For full privileges and what not

Just posting a message here in hopes that it will count as my second overall message.

I'll post my first message here (would've been my third) in the hope that my account won't get deleted again for no damned reason, like it was yesterday.

Ironic Re: For full privileges and what not

Looking at your posting style I can understand why it was...

Please remember this is a family forum and rude language is not wanted here.

Post number two! wow, I just spent the day reading various posts and such on and off, and boy... intimidating! I'm really just a beginner who loves flashlights... the numbers, the lingo wow! I found "The welcome mat" post though, and that seems like a good "study guide" if you will... anyways, thanks for having me! I haven't found it yet, but if there is a place to introduce oneself, somebody link me?

Cool Re: For full privileges and what not

Hi CPF, New here. Just purchased my first real flashlight: Fenix LD10. Kicks my gigantic, old Mag Light. Had to wrangle my wife into the closet to show her the power vs the MagLight--now she thinks I'm strange. Never been particularly interested in flashlights before but... that's for next message.

Default test; 1st. post

test post, occasional reader for a limited time in 2006; 1st. post here.

Researching much needed lighting tools for my time on a small Island in the Philippines (I split my time between there & USA)

I've been using and living by SureFire since 2004; I always travel with them & strongly advise others to do so when traveling, especially overseas.

Well, I guess I'll put post number two in here, so I can get unlocked.

Yeah, there is a lot here. I am at best a casual light user, so I find some of the arcana about modding and making lights fascinating.

Whether or not posts made to the 'Practice Posting' forum counts toward gaining vetted privileges, I don't know. The forum is intended, though, for practice or testing of features. The threads of the 'Practice Posting' forum are subject to periodic removal. Meaningful post should be made in topical forums.

We'll close this thread.
