...as I recall, it was about 2:30 in the morning and I was on one of my nightly treks to the ole' outhouse.
As I started to turn on my McGizmo PD for the journey, an overpowering light appeared over the empty field (see arrow) to the southwest of the cabin (see circle). That's the same area where the unidentified howling creature was sited dragging a freshly slain cow into the woods.
I'll never forget that night and what we found in the morning!
Not funny Sigman-I'm currently in a remote part of northern Canada and I hear all kinds of weird noises at night.BTW-there is only 3 hours of complete darkness where I am-how about you?

Seems we're on about 19 hours of daylight according to the actual sunrise/sunset times...but with dawn & dusk...it seems like more than 19 hours of light.
