Default Shed some light on my circular saw, please!

Sure could use some suggestions here. I'm having difficulty seeing the chalk line when I rip wood with my portable (hand held) circular saw. Seems that whether it's too dark or too sunny outside, the line is always in the shadow of the saw.

I'm thinking it would be great to mount a battery-powered LED so it sheds light right where I need it: the area underneath the saw where the blade contacts the wood. I understand newer saws have this feature, but I like my old saw and don't want to give it up just because it needs an upgrade.

Could anybody tell me how I could mount a battery-powered LED with a switch that is within easy reach of my hand grip on the saw?

Thank you!

I think yoy have answered this question yourself. The simplest way to go should be to tape a keychain led light on the front end on the saw. Pics?

or mount a little lazer with a spreader on it to mimic the lazer line feature included in newer models (it's pretty sweet)
