"NAGOYA — Toyota Motor Corp has test-manufactured an automobile that has powerful white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for headlights and is set to unveil it at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month, Toyota sources said Saturday.

The vehicle marks the first time for Toyota to use a white LED, a type of semiconductor chip, in headlights. The show will get under way Oct 22 for journalists and Oct 25 for the public. (Kyodo News)

This is the entire article, so don't bother following the link. Guess we'll have to wait for the Tokyo Motor Show to learn more.
