Cool Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light

I picked up a light like this http://www.improvementscatalog.com/p...e=macs=MP3W203 2 years ago while in France. Even though it's made in China, until now I've never seen one in the States. The CCF tube is 3 1/4" long (the glowing part) and the arm is made of 2 sections 5 1/2" long, hinged in the middle so you can position the light just about anywhere you need it. The CCF tube is about as bright as the Eveready ArcWhite. The incandescent light uses a Minimag AA style bi-pin bulb and is pretty worthless as the "reflector" is about the size of a Solitaire; better than nothing I guess![img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif[/img] I paid about $20 for mine and these are on sale for $8.99. A great deal IMHO.
