you need to upload photo's to your own image host, or use logicnerds free hosting [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] logic's hosting

You can scale the image in html, although I am not sure that is allowed on the BB. It is better to use an image editor of some sort. I recommend this. It is freeware, and very versatile. You can change formats, crop, resize, rotate, etc.

Most anytime you would want to use a BMP, you could instead use a GIF or better yet a PNG. Save us all some bandwidth.

The irfanview will convert between all of these.

The only accepted formats on CPF are gif and jpg... It's a software thing. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I'm using the above software and I changed the picture, but now it's a bmp, not a jpg. I can't yet find out how to convert it back to a jpg?

By the way ESD I thought it was going to stay a jpg. The magic of microshaft!

Once you've finished editing/re-sizing your image in Irfanview:

click "file"

select "save as"

click on the drop down box next to "save as file type"

select jpg or gif from the list

click "save"

I'm not familiar with Irfanview, but I think there is an option to "save as" wich gives you the option to choose different formats. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif[/img]
