I kinda wish they'd make a better clip on the U2... I dont care too much for those little wire clips.

By "wire clips", do you mean like the ones on the E series lights, or the clip in the picture?

The clip in the pic looks like it would be kinda nice.

The clip on the U2 is not a done deal as they say. It might be different when they are hopefully delivered. All of the new lights from SF are in prodcution, but in the tradional SF way, no quoted delivery dates

Sasha - be sure and give me a jingle when you get here. We arrived today, and had a much nicer time of it than did Don... but we still didn't make it to SHOT today. We did the strip and enjoyed our show and dining tonight. Tomorrow to SHOT!

Latest news on the new 1W mf'd flashlight forefront -- LightWave has a 1W "RECOIL" style light, ala Pelican!!! SAW it at the Moteng Booth!!! WORD, doods!!!

Rep dropped it off this morning, obviously a prepro proto, shoots a clean clear beam "close" to the Pel's altho being a ppp probably not optimally focused. Uses three Cs and although not DD, could very well be easily modified by taking the resistance (I presume) out...

Just a cool something-r-other I saw at the Coast/LedLenser Booth (since at the Moteng Booth they wouldn't let me take a pic of the LightWave C-1 described above), this is a Coast light, totally tubular and appeared chrome-plated, heavy like made of steel, and I must say I like altho I can't figer how in the world I'd EDC it but I still like it and it runs on 3AAA's in a triangular cross section holder (cheep runnin'?). Didn' get the light's name as the rep was rapping in total German with some people:

Most interesting thing was the HOLE in the top of the optic (can you Fraen Low Profile, I think???):

Oh well, on to the end-of-show sell-offs tomorrow...but first must attend the CPF get-together tonight (to which yours truly has been assigned as one of the food-delivery errand boys - I'll get you fer this Jeff...).

I liked the portable desk lamps that Coast had. Luxeon based with a small power pak of 3xAAA's in a metal box conected by a plug in, mini headphone jack, to a small diameter lead wire to the lamp base.
