Default LEDs are REALLY getting mainstream!

At Academy Sports and Outdoors, I found Optronics brand sealed oval LED tail lights (the ones that fit in a grommet) and surface mount style (some 8 inches long by 3 or so tall and deep) both with a large number of LEDs in each.

At Walmart I found Pirahna brand sealed round and oval style, but with far fewer LEDs in each (looked like 6 in the oval all inline and six or maybe seven in the round light - one in the middle the others around the outside.

Also at Walmart Pirahna brand LED marker lights both red and amber. These are large ones with chrome mounting. There were already simple red and ambers only about 1/2 tall by 1.25-1.50 long. If I hadn't already gotten LED markers, four of these little ones would be on my truck.

If I can devise a way to mount them up there, two Optronics Ovals could replace my incandescent upper tail lights.

The whole LED explosion is remarkable to witness!
