Default What Temp/K light is most distinctive in daylight

Hello, I know absolutely nothing about lighting and I really appreciate any tips or help you can give. I am working on a project and have two primary objectives. First being low power consumption or long battery life, and second producing a light most visible or distinctive during daylight. I need to have visiblity from at least 200 yards via either a strobe or backlight similar to pedestrian walk lights. Thanks for your help

Why not take a clue from emergency vehicles? Flashing red seems to work pretty well. And LEDs that generate red light are efficient, common, and relatively inexpensive.

Blue, from incandescent, strobe, and LEDs, are used by the police in the United States.
Just don't display red and blue LEDs together in the same fixture, or you might get into some hot water.

Flashing any color tends to be more noticed. White tends not to be the best because of lack of contrast with the sky or white/light grey buildings.

Red is a caution light, Blue stands out. But both red and blue are on the far ends of what the eye can see. So you can have a bright red light that to the eye appears nto so bright. Green is the color that the eye is most sensitive to. This might be important for your low wattage issue. You need more watts for red or blue to be just as bright as green. But green tends to mean go, or safe, or good.

Combo colors might grab more attention too. Like Green amber flashing. It really depends on what you are trying to do. Hope this information helps.

As for daylight visibility, amber (~590nm) is what the LED signs are using. That seems to be the most visible; even moreso than green. Digital highway signs and bus signs are increasingly going with amber.
