15.5 lm/W-not terribly efficient compared to luxeons or even better incandescents. It's still interesting to have an LED array with this much output. If it's in a small area it must be very intense. Just for comparison purposes the fluorescent fixture in my bedroom puts out 10,600 lumens and uses only 113 watts.

I think they used the red, green and blue LEDs to be able to dial-in any color they wanted when lighting up areas of the stage. I don't know much about stage lighting, but it's gotta be a bit of a hassle to change filters all the time; this way, you can program it or use three sliders to get the color you want instantly.
