MB ballasts in the UK, anyone?
Simple question. Got an 80W MBF lamp here I'd like to use, but am lacking a suitable ballast.
For testing purposes the lamp itself runs fine on a 70W fluorescent ballast, but the ballast itself gets rather toasty rather rapidly, certainly wouldn't want to leave it running more than 15 minutes or so.
Thus far, attemps to track down MB ballasts in the UK has been somewhere between useless and less than useless. Only one I found cost me £5 from a car boot sale and didn't even work. Grrr....
